WELCOME!

Welcome to the Dill Records blog! Located in Jesup, Georgia, Dill Records is owned and operated by Ralph Dill, producer, chief studio engineer, and musician with over 50 years of experience playing and recording music all across the U.S.A. Because of Ralph's strong country and gospel roots, Dill Records is an excellent choice for artists who specialize in those musical genres, but our fully equipped, high-quality recording facilities are available to anyone with a desire to record and express themselves through music, whatever kind of music that may be. Our sole requirement is that our customers be prepared for the best results they could have ever imagined...because that's what we deliver. And at very affordable prices! But that's not all we can do for you. Here at Dill Records, we believe in what we do, and that includes promoting and distributing the music we record here. Sound too good to be true? Well, it's not. Contact us. See for yourself. We'll be waiting to hear from you.

R. DILL RECORDS ON KICKSTARTER!! (AND I'M A LITTLE NERVOUS...)

Well, it's happened! R. DILL RECORDS (formerly and sometimes still occasionally known as just plain DILL RECORDS) has just launched a Kickstarter Project. If you don't know what Kickstarter is, you can check out the link below. Basically, it's a funding platform for creative projects, one often used these days by established artists as well as aspiring ones. My father and I have launched a project that we hope will allow us to make desperately needed renovations to the studio, such as soundproofing the walls and floor, expanding the 38 x 40 space, and adding some equipment to replace things that were destroyed when the driver of a pick up truck crashed through one wall of the studio and nearly killed my Dad. Anyway...

The thing about Kickstarter is that it is all or nothing. We set our goal at the tidy, round sum of $10,000. If we get that much pledged to us by May 8, we can keep it. If we get even a dollar less, we get nothing, but walk away owing nothing. We really, really worked hard on the premise and I had to be the one in the video because my father was too shy. So, yeah...it fell to me. I can't say I am pleased with what I look like (I just don't look good in digital), but I did it, and I made the case, and now it's in God's hands...and the hands of the people who will decide whether or not to pledge to the project. Bottom line, we hope that you will check out the project even if you are not going to pledge because we would love to hear your feedback. Making R. Dill Studios a viable, competitive, cutting edge Christian/Gospel recording studio is my father's dream. At 80, he looks and acts 60. And he still believes in dreams. That is soooo cool. Please take a look! Love as always...
